Jaci has had a set of printed Gerber diapers she has used as security blankets since we met her at 9 months of age. She is usually very possessive of them, and has only let Lainey hold it on the odd occasion. This morning when Emilyn and I went in the big girls room to get them up, Jaci decided she wanted Emilyn to have/hold one of her "bays". She was quite pleased to do it. "Here you go Emilyn" she said sweetly. She then had the great idea that all three girls should hold a "bay" for a photo. Then she hid her "bay" while I tried to take a photo. That's life with a 3 year old.

Here's another photo of Emilyn enjoying the bay in her swing downstairs.
It was a warm afternoon--Indian Summertime--and the girls ate their lunch out on the sunporch. Emilyn looks on...

The "perfect timing" title, is that one of our stories in our curriculum for today had a groundhog in it. My girls were very familiar with it after our weekend visitor!

I love all the pictures except for the one that Steve rolled over....Cherilyn, I'm with YOU on that one....I'll probably have nightmares just from seeing the picture! You are making soooooooooo many memories with your girls. Am glad you didn't scold Lainey for pouring her milk into her cereal! But a bowl will be good! I love Emilyn's chair. How sweet of Jaci to share and how smart she is to learn all those verses!
Love you all!
Betty
What sweet girls all three of them are! I still have remnants of my blanket and now Mateo has taken it over... I don't think it will last much longer, bt somehow passing it on is better than having it forever. The girls are absolutely adorable - all in their own way. I could have done without the snake picture :-( I'll be having nightmares, too - but beacuse I feel bad for the poor thing :-(
