It's hard to find many quiet moments to just come and blog, so I'm playing catch-up. A few weekends ago we made it over to Arthur, Illinois...a city well-known for their Amish community--and also known locally for a big pumpkin patch. So we ventured out for lunch and to pick out a pumpkin.
As you can see above, Jaci is pretty excited about looking at pumpkins. I was, too...Here is the pumpkin I chose...
Here, Lainey sits with the pumpkin we really picked out...
Next photo--Me and the older girls, just goofin' around...
Next photo finds Daddy and his girls taking a rest in the sunshine, enjoying that crisp, autumn air...
Though I don't admit it often, I was born and lived in the Midwest until age 7. Some of my favorite memories include visits to real, live pumpkin patches and jumping in the piles of dried up fall leaves mom and dad so tediously raked! I'm so thankful I get to relive some of these memories with my own kids. Minus the fact we have more harvested corn fields than fallen autumn leaves in this part of the Midwest. Ha.

Aren't three little girls fun???? I just love seeing all your pictures and catching up with what is going on in your lives. When we went to NC a few weeks ago, we went to an apple orchard and picked apples and Reagan also picked out a pumpkin. It was great fun.
Happy belated birthday, Cherilyn!!
Happy 32 Cherilyn...I'm npt that far behind! The girls are all so beautiful! I just love seeing how they are growing up!
