Last night before bed I just had to take a photo of Lainey holding up 2 fingers one last time. I took another photo of her tonight with her new number. By the way, if it looks "funny" perhaps you don't realize that she's saying "3" with her fingers the American Sign Language way. We've been learning a bit of it lately...
We had a low key celebration...receiving gifts and phone calls from family during the day. Enjoying Lainey's favorite meal for lunch (pancakes--from scratch this time!)
...and ended with a casual brats and burgers dinner on the grill, enjoying the recent "cooler" summer weather with our sweet neighbor couple, "Ms. Mary" and "Mr. Jim".
They added to Lainey's owl theme with a birthday gift book that has owls on the cover.
I also made cupcakes with a few snowy owl faces and the writing says, "Whoo's 3? Lainey!"
We were so blessed to get to celebrate Lainey's 3 years!

That was VERY creative...."Who's 3?" OWL cupcakes...you should "market that"! Looks like you had a beautiful day for the celebration of 3years of Lainey's life. She is a blessing to us all!
