16 month old Emilyn

My delightful little blessing...16 months old today! This little girl thinks she is "hot stuff" whenever she gets to do something her big sissies do...such as the following...
Here she is at breakfast this morning, out of her high chair, and sitting in Lainey's booster seat. Actually, Emilyn isn't the only one that enjoyed it...big sissies made comments about "3 in a row" and Jaci enjoyed sharing her food with Emilyn (even if it wasn't alawys by choice, due to baby grabby hands!).

Emilyn enjoys climbing, and is able to get on the couch. However she also enjoys diving off it, which keeps mommy nervously and prayerfully on her toes...
Emilyn has taken a few steps here and there, but refuses to go any further. She quickly drops to her knees into a speed crawl. We "know" she can do it. She's just leaving us hanging. Personally, I don't mind the slight delay...

Emilyn continues to add signs to her ASL vocabulary and attempts to say many of the words that go with the signs she gives. For example, she'll say "baw" instead of "ball"...or "Aw done" instead of "All Done" when signing after she's finished eating.
She still has only 4 teeth, but it's not stopping her from sampling whatever we have on the table.

She makes us smile and those she comes in contact with. We're often asked "Is she always such an easy baby"? She is pretty laid back, but she has her fiesty moments as well. Who doesn't, right?!
Her biggest sissy loves helping her do things.
Lainey remains mesmorized by her baby sissy and can't stop kissing and loving on her.
Both are including her in play as much as possible.
