Quiet moments...

I just wanted to share that even though we have 3 preschoolers at home, we still have some peaceful moments. Here is a photo of one such tranquil time. Usually at least 2 of the girls are together, but on this evening last Friday, all were into their own quiet activities. Jaci is at the counter doing a puzzle, Emilyn is enjoying her latest craze--Mr and Mrs Potato Head, and Lainey was listening to a book on their Storyreader.

Then we have the more noisy, yet joyful moments (I will choose to remember and record these rather than any of the the noisy, not so joyful moments of life!). Now that Emilyn is about to be 2 years old in just two weeks, she is able to participate more in play. Here is a favorite of all the girls: Ring Around the Rosie. All of them seem to especially enjoy falling down at the end. Emilyn asks her sissies to play "Rosie"--her little nickname for the game.
Quiet or noisy, we are very thankful for our three little princesses.

That is so sweet to see the girls all absorbed in their own little quiet time. And then the ring around the rosie.....kids, even little boys, have played that game for generations. I hope you're feeling much better now.

love,
