Krisanna is 1 month old today.

(Left: daddy Steve carries his Krisanna around like a football. She loves it.)Well, it's been one whole month since Krisanna entered our world with life outside the womb. She's growing like a weed--wide and long. But she's still our tiny newborn and we're taking advantage of appreciating our blessing. Even though she's awfully fussy and sleep is a bit sporadic for now.

The things that seem to calm a fussy Krisanna are:
1. the dishwasher turned on
2. the clothes dryer turned on OR
3. hanging in a sling on mommy. (I think she thinks she's re-entered the womb when she enters this thing)

She still has crazy, dark hair, as you can see here...

The girls continue to adore their baby sister, although all are "off limits" to her right now because of colds. This is very hard for them. Emilyn doesn't quite understand why, and we've turned our backs only to find her fresh slobber from kisses on Krisanna's face. Krisanna, has some sniffles now, too. We just pray it goes no further than that.

Above is a photo of Lainey loving on her sissy pre-cold.

We also continue to receive visitors who have not yet met baby. Here was our latest visitor from our friend Lakshmi:

In other news, I acutally made it out on my own with all 4 kids and lived to tell. Ballet started this week again for Jaci and Lainey. Thankfully baby chose to sleep the whole time. That helped us out a lot.

Here is Jaci's latest find in our front yard. She was glowing proud about it. She ran into the house through the garage(with frog) to show me her find. Thankfully for me she was grasping him tight enough that he didn't escape. I promptly ushered her back outside through the front door, and onto the porch for photos.

I thought Jaci was quite clever yesterday when she decided that in order to play dr. they needed the proper tools. We don't have a play dr's kit, so she devised the necessities out of their Tinker Toys. Here is the stethescope (made with no ideas from me!). She made other "tools" that I did not get a chance to photograph.

Love all your photos! You look great and Stephen looks like quite the proud papa, "football baby" and all. Maybe Jaci will follow in your Mom's footsteps and become a nurse. Hugs to all.
