Honest Abe's birthday...

Part of our school day today was spent focusing on the 16th president of the US. To celebrate, we looked at photos of him online, did a craft and watched a movie about him.

Krisanna joined her sissies for part of the movie... We watched one of the Animated Hero classics from Nest Family Entertainment. In less than 30 minutes it introduced Abes' family, freedom of slaves, Gettysburg Address, and more. We were able to watch the video at www.cosmeo.com This website as been a valuable supplement to our 'homeschool'. It's made for 'homework help' for kids that go to school outside the home. You might want to check it out--it's a Discovery Channel website.



I'm so thankful I get to do this for my 'job'! And a BIG humungus thank you to my husband for working so hard outside the home.
