My Krisanna. My great, big, adorable, healthy baby girl. I'm so grateful to be her mama. She has brought us all much joy in her first half year of life. She especially brings us joy now that she is sleeping through the night. We thank God for this latest feat of about 3 weeks. She goes 12 hours between feeds.
She's not into solid food yet. We tried that last month. Those were the pre-sleeping through the night days. The goal was to help her get through longer at night. But she wasn't interested in the food and gagged for the three or so nights we tried giving it, and then seemed to be up with a tummy ache in the night. So we quit and tried again a few nights ago. Cereal first, then carrots. Neither one much pleased her.
I think we might try fruit with her cereal the next time we try! For now, by God's grace, she is content with just 5 nursing sessions a day and sleeping through the night. If that's what works for her for now, we're fine with it. As you can see in the photos, her weight suffers not!
Krisanna, at 6 months, likes to babble and 'growl' for her communication. It's very cute. She has smiles for her sissies anytime, day or night. She enjoys sharing a room with Emilyn and seems to enjoy her big sister's singing and chatter.
I'll close with some recent photos of our sweet girl. You will see that she lost her head of dark hair and is growing in a fuzzy top of lighter hair.

We got 6 months photos taken of Krisanna tonight. She was in a laid back mood and hardly smiled. At least she wasn't crying.
When we got home from photos, she was pooped. Here she is hanging out on the bed next to daddy for a quiet, before bath and bed moment.
