BIRTHDAY GIRL As you can see, she can't quite get her "I'm 2!" fingers up without including the thumb...but she's very proudly up one digit today...
...and thoroughly enjoyed some birthday ice cream after dinner (vanilla, please, at Jaci's request).OUR 1st SWINGSET Some dear friends from down the road are moving (sob, sniff.) and have generously donated their swingset to us! I waited all morning for Jaci to notice it from inside the house as Daddy put it up the night before while they were asleep. She never noticed. So I took them "to get the mail" after lunch and then steered them toward the backyard to see their surprise. They ran there as fast as their little legs could carry them. They spent nearly 2 hours on it today! Jaci kept saying, "Thank you Mommy and Daddy for the swingset." Thank YOU Blombergs (esp. Faith and Logan!)
THUMB FOUND! Emilyn discovered this past week that her right thumb is the tastiest of all her fingers. Here's a photo from tonight with Daddy's arm cradling his sweet baby.
POTTY TRAINING DAY 7 Jaci stayed dry all day!! That's 2 days in a row now! Hallelujah!! Emilyn looks as shocked as we are!! Hee.hee.
