MISS POTATO HEADS...Well, as you can see my girls are a lot of fun...Jaci started this and even Emi participated. If daddy had been home, no doubt there would have been a photo of him too with Mr. Potato Head pieces.

POTTY...Nearly a year and a half ago we started potty training our Jaci with every method we could get our hands on. Readiness approach, one day training, train your doll to pee, bribery (bike, stickers, candy and cookies). Yes, even food which I swore I'd never use as a bribe. Finally last Thursday, when she woke up to start the day, I breathed a desperate Mommy prayer and announced, "No more diapers or pull-ups!! You will wear underwear!!" So here's how the last 6 days went:
DAY 1: THURSDAY: Dry all day, even through nap!! Nighttime she soaked herself, so we're just gonna focus on day-time for now--that's great for us!
DAY 2: FRIDAY: Accident at the dr's office...accident when out on walk in the evening with daddy.
DAY 3: SATURDAY: Accident in public at an outdoor work event with daddy's work...
DAY 4: SUNDAY: Dry all day, even through church and sunday school...
DAY 5: MONDAY: Accident at naptime (though to add to things she was frightened of the lightening storm.) Accident on floor in bathroom...
DAY 6: TODAY: DRY ALL DAY!! Thank the Lord...
TRAINING SISSY: Today, Jaci even took the liberty of getting her almost 2 year old sister to the potty and helping her take her diaper off, told her to sit down and put her poo-poo in the potty. She even turned the fan on and made sure little sister had some good reading material. Lainey cried a bit, but after some Mommy encouragement too...well let's just say it ended very happily for this Mommy!! Do you think we could possibly train two at once?? Somebody keep praying for us....

Yeah - another fellow family blogger :-) The girls look so grown up since I saw them last...so beautiful, too! We can't wait to see you all this weekend! What a difference one year can make!
