Jaci has started going to a club called AWANA at a local church on Wednesday nights. It's kind of like a Christian girl scout group. They do crafts, take field trips, sing songs, have snack time and play time, too. One of the main activities is Bible verse memorization. Jaci had to memorize 3 Bible verses and the AWANA "Cubbies" motto. She impressed us with her memorization skill by memorizing all 3 verses and the motto her first week.

We later learned that she only needs to learn about one a week. Guess we were a little overzealous. After learning those first verses, she earned her cubbie "vest" this past Wednesday. She was SO looking forward to this day and very proudly wears it. Jaci also got her cubby book with lessons for each week. (Gotta love the fruit punch moustache from snack time!).

Almost every day when she wakes up and asks, "What are we doing today?" she adds, "Are we going to AWANA?" Glad she's lovin' it! At home, she was kind enough to let her sissy wear the vest for a few minutes--though it was hard for her to want to share it.

Cherilyn! This is Haleigh's second year of Cubbies! She LOVES it :) We go on Wednesday mornings. It is a wonderful program, you will really enjoy it. I highly suggest doing it the second year as well :)
Hi Cherilyn, fantastic idea, will try to set it up. Can't believe how big Jaci is! Looks like you've got your hands full with the other two as well.
Love to you all
