Lainey's Lexicon...from "dusty" to "licker"

Do you have a dusty? How about a "licker"?

When Steve was helping with dishes one day, he held up a whisk and asked Lainey what it was..."A licker!" she said. Reminescing of course about past cake or cookie batter whisks she got to "lick" off the utensil.

Today the girls were in a cleaning mood (may it stay 'til they fly the nest!)...so I gave them each a rag for dusting. Later, when Jaci was dusting with a rag, Lainey questioned us all, "Where's MY dusty? I can't find my dusty!" I guess that's her name for the dust rag (see photo above).

I also remembered that Jaci recently calls sneezes, "bless yous".
For example, if Emilyn sneezes, she'll say, "Mommy, Emilyn just bless you-ed!"
