Christmas Fun

Our family Christmas Eve photo at the Contemporary Resort Hotel,Walt Disney World, FL
We were blessed to get to travel over the holidays to Central Florida to visit my mom and stepdad, dad and stepmom and GG (stepmom's mama)...my brother and his family also traveled down from Georgia.
My stepfather, Jacques was diagnosed with cancer in October. Even though he had to have a chemo treatment while we were there, we still got to enjoy a little quality time together. He seemed to especially enjoy snuggling with Lainey. I think she was the only one of the grandkids that could sit still long enough. Below, Mimi takes a moment with her youngest grandchild

The girls were especially excited to visit with their cousin Alexia. Here they are posing with their new towels Aunt Chrissy got them for Christmas.
We enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner atop the Walt Disney World Contemporary Resort Hotel...a fabulous Christmas gift from my dad. Here are a few scenes inside and outside of the restaurant. Notice Cinderella's castle in the upper righthand corner of this photo. The girls couldn't be more thrilled with the view.

Here is a photo of myself, my dad and my brother. We enjoyed spending time with the girls' GG, age 92 as well. We had lunch at a Disney hotel and enjoyed riding the monorail together. We also sat out at the Grand Floridian for a long while enjoying the FL sun, beach and lake. Here is a photo of the family on a balcony inside the Grand Floridian Hotel. Here a
Here my dad (papa) and Lainey enjoying our girls' first monorail journey.
We also went to a Butterfly Farm...my SIL has much better photos of that on her blog, and some with our precious nephew, Caleb as well.
Our girls also enjoyed a playdate with the girls from Meghann's FOUR blog. And the mommies enjoyed visiting together, too! Our moms are best friends, so they hooked us up for this lunchtime playtime picnic. All had a blast.
I do wish I could have called many friends in Florida for a visit, but due to family planned activities and family illness, it did not work out to do so this time. I hope you all understand! Love ya!!

It's taking me a while to catch up on reading blogs these days, but I've loved reading yours today! Reagan is still talking about your girls and is ready for another picnic anytime! =) I REALLY enjoyed our visit, too. Hope you are doing well!!
